Shipping Information
For items that are in stock, purchases made after 9am EST will be usually be shipped out in the next 1-2 business days. Please inquire to confirm lead times if you have specific time constraints. Orders will be sent via signature required at our discretion unless otherwise requested.

International Shipping
Any and all customs duties, taxes, import fees, and/or tariffs assessed in connection with the purchase shall be the sole responsibility of the customer/end user.

Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. All returns are subject to a restocking fee based on item and package condition. Buyer is responsible for paying for return shipping costs. If you need a return label, we will email you a return label and deduct cost from refund. Original shipping costs are not refundable. Special order items are not eligible for return.

Cancellation Policy
In order to cancel your order you must email within 24 hours of placing your order or before your order has shipped, whichever occurs first. Special order items are not eligible for cancelation.

Exchange Policy
We have a 30-day exchange policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request an exchange. To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be brand new in box. Buyer is responsible for paying all shipping costs to exchange product.

Product Description

The Akrapovic Catted Downpipe DP-BM/SS/8 is a high-flow Stainless Steel Downpipe designed specifically for the BMW G8x M2 / M3 / M4 with S58 engine, engineered to work in concert with Akrapovic Slip-On Line or Evolution exhaust systems. This downpipe incorporates sport-oriented catalytic converters (≈200 cpsi) with heat insulation and precision-cast inlet sections from Akrapovic’s in-house foundry for excellent fitment and robust performance. The design promotes freer exhaust flow compared to stock, producing a more aggressive and emotive sound at higher RPMs while maintaining controlled character without excessive drone. Because this component significantly alters exhaust flow and backpressure, ECU remapping is required to prevent check engine lights and unlock its full potential. This product is intended for closed-course or track use and may not be emissions-legal for street use in many regions.

Fitment Notes

  • Designed for BMW M3 (G80) with S58 3.0L engine (including Competition variants)

  • Also compatible with BMW M2/ M4 (G87 / G82 / G83) when used with matching Akrapovic exhaust systems

  • Intended for use with Akrapovic exhaust components (Slip-On Line or Evolution Line)

  • Requires ECU remapping/tuning after installation to avoid error codes

  • Not emissions compliant for street use in many regions and may be restricted for road use
