Product Description

Convert the factory carbon-ceramic front brakes on your Lamborghini Huracán STO to a durable, serviceable iron rotor system with the GiroDisc Front Iron Rotor Conversion. Designed as a direct replacement for the factory carbon-ceramic discs, these two-piece fully floating rotors retain the original Lamborghini front brake calipers while replacing the carbon-ceramic friction discs with GiroDisc's proprietary high-carbon iron rotor rings. Each rotor incorporates 72 curved internal cooling vanes that act as a centrifugal pump, pulling cooling air through the disc to effectively manage temperatures during repeated high-speed braking. The high-carbon iron rings are paired with lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum hats, creating a robust two-piece system well suited to demanding street and track use. Once the initial conversion is complete, the aluminum hats can be reused and only the iron friction rings need to be replaced as they wear. For STO owners who regularly track their cars, the GiroDisc conversion provides a practical alternative to repeatedly replacing expensive factory carbon-ceramic rotors while maintaining the factory brake calipers.

Product Features

  • Converts the Huracán STO's factory carbon-ceramic front brakes to serviceable iron rotors while retaining the original Lamborghini brake calipers

  • Proprietary high-carbon iron friction rings are formulated to GiroDisc's specifications for durability under demanding high-temperature braking conditions

  • 72 curved internal cooling vanes function as a centrifugal pump to move cooling air through the rotor during aggressive braking

  • Fully floating two-piece construction allows the friction ring to expand independently as temperatures increase during demanding street or track use

  • Reusable 6061-T6 aluminum hats reduce future service costs because only the D1-302 iron friction rings need to be replaced as they wear

  • Spring clips and Belleville washers provide race-ready rotor float while minimizing the loose-hardware noise commonly associated with traditional fully floating racing rotors
