Product Description

The Girodisc PCCB Rear Iron Rotor Conversion is a 2-piece floating rotor system engineered specifically for Porsche 991 GT3, GT3 RS, and GT2 RS models equipped with factory PCCB brakes. Designed to complement the front conversion, this setup replaces fragile and costly carbon-ceramic rear rotors with high-performance cast iron discs and lightweight aluminum hats, delivering improved thermal stability, consistent braking performance, and drastically reduced operating costs. Ideal for track-focused builds and aggressive street use, it maintains factory brake balance while significantly increasing serviceability.

Fitment Notes

  • Fits Porsche 991.1 / 991.2 GT3, GT3 RS, GT2 RS with factory PCCB

  • Designed as a direct replacement for rear PCCB rotors — no modification required

  • Must be paired with iron-compatible rear brake pads (not PCCB pads)

  • Fully compatible with OEM calipers, ABS, and brake bias

  • Recommended to run alongside matching Girodisc front conversion for optimal balance

Included

  • Pair of 2-piece rear floating rotors (left & right)

  • CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum rotor hats (pre-assembled)

  • High-strength drive pins and floating hardware

  • Anti-rattle / anti-noise hardware components

Product Specs

  • Rotor type: 2-piece floating iron rotor conversion (rear axle)

  • Rotor material: High-carbon cast iron alloy

  • Hat material: 6061-T6 billet aluminum

  • Cooling design: Directional curved vane internal cooling

  • Mounting system: Floating rotor design with precision drive pins

  • Rotor sizing: Matches OEM PCCB rear dimensions (~390mm class)

  • Serviceability: Replaceable rotor rings (reuse hats for future service)

  • Sold as: Rear axle pair

Product Features

  • Complete PCCB conversion solution: Rear system pairs with front kit for full iron brake setup

  • Superior heat dissipation: Iron construction and vane design improve cooling under repeated braking

  • Consistent pedal feel: Eliminates variability and heat sensitivity common with ceramic rotors on track

  • Floating rotor architecture: Reduces stress, prevents cracking, and improves long-term durability

  • Lower cost of ownership: Replace rings instead of full rotor assemblies — massive savings over PCCB

  • Expanded pad selection: Unlocks access to true motorsport pad compounds for track performance

  • OEM system compatibility: Retains factory calipers, ABS calibration, and brake bias
